Creativity comes from many sources, internal and external. It comes from our own knowledge, beliefs, biases, and interests. It comes from how we see, interpret, and experience the world around us. Creativity is born from curiosity, exploring, taking risks, problem solving, making mistakes, and being prepared to make connections between the seemingly unconnected. Everyone is creative. It’s not a mythical force, but a process that can be learned, practiced, and nurtured.

I’ve put together this set of my photographs, paired with quotes about or related to creativity, to help inspire you and perhaps challenge you to explore your own creativity, to work outside the boundaries without worry of failing or what others may think.
